Let's start at the beginning
Importing hardwood garden furniture and ceramic pots from Vietnam
Over the years Horizon has been heavily involved in a plethora of product sectors, however, the primary focus has always been on UK Outdoor Living & Garden Lifestyle Products.
Our story began around the turn of the century, with the founders learning their craft through design, manufacture and export of hardwood garden furniture and handicrafts from South East Asia.
Importing & Restoring Vespa’s to the UK
Thinking outside the box
Horizon has rather interestingly been involved in so many weird and wonderful projects that have run alongside our core outdoor living focus. These include beautifully restoring and importing classic Vespa and Lambretta Motorcycles from Vietnam, developing rice husk fuel log manufacture and export from the Mekong Delta, pioneering dental industry products from southern China, importing recycled golf balls from the US, developing “faux grass” easy click tiles, developing di-bond sheets for commercial advertising and more recently a consice range of petrol and lithium garden power tools along with bespoke wheelie bins.
Becoming an established importer
We have implemented offices in Ho Chi Minh City, Ningbo and in more recent years Hangzhou regions. We have also previously maintained a sizable UK showroom and extensive warehousing catering to our wholesale customer base.
Establishing Far East Connections
Horizon’s dedicated, experienced team and extensive network both focus on client collaboration; whether they are brands within a sector, wholesalers, multinational and nationwide retailers, single site retailers, e-commerce sellers, traditional garden centres, hotels and restaurants or those partners that fall in between – our mission is to simply share our personal, commercial, product and process expertise to excel in all areas of our sector and beyond.
